Dogs are allowed in designated areas. Please clean up after your pet. No outside food is allowed but we do have snacks and charcuterie for purchase.

Offered Select Thursday-Saturday from May to October
Join us for a wine tasting and walking tour. This experience is 90 minutes. Drizzle or shine this event will go on! Bring proper shoes as we will be walking a portion of the vineyard.
$60 per person, cost does not include sales tax or credit card surcharge or tip.

In 2019, Zach and Lindsay Filkins’ spontaneous visit to Karma Vista Winery introduced them to the allure of Michigan wines and the warmth of its community. This encounter planted the seed for a future rooted in viticulture. By 2024, their vision materialized with the acquisition of the very winery that sparked their journey.
Embracing the legacy of the Hermans, the previous owners, the Filkinses have infused new energy into the vineyard, emphasizing sustainability and authenticity. Collaborating with seasoned winemaker Jason Johnson, they aim to produce wines that honor the land’s character. Can I bring a picnic?
No picnics, but we do have food trucks on site select weekends as well as charcuterie available for pre order and grab and go snack items.

Yes. We are a kid friendly establishment we just ask that children are supervised.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes. Dogs are allowed in designated areas. We ask that our customers pick up after Fido.
What is your large group policy?

Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes. We accept walk ins.
How long does a typical tasting experience last?
A tasting can last from 30 minutes to an hour depending upon how much information you are seeking. Our knowledge staff loves to teach about our wines.
Where are you located, and how do I get there?
Our address is 6991 Ryno Rd, Coloma MI 49038. Take exit 39 from I-94.
Is there parking and paved roads to the winery?
Yes. We have a paved driveway and parking lot. When the parking lot is full, there is overflow parking on the grass.
Are there other wineries or attractions nearby?
Yes. Filkins Vineyards is part of the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail. Head to their website miwinetrail.com for a list of the participate wineries.
Do you allow limos or tour buses?
Yes. We do allow limos and buses.
Are tasting fees waived with wine purchase or club signup?
Yes, tasting fees are waived the same day you join the wine club. We can get quite busy on Saturday’s during the season therfore we are offering flights in lieu of tastings on Saturday’s for wine club members.
Do you have outdoor seating or picnic areas?
Yes. The tasting room has outdoor deck seating and front porch seating. Coming this May we will have an outdoor seating area with adirondack chairs and tables. From May- Mid November, we have an open air tent with covered seating. We do have outdoor picnic tables.

Do you offer vineyard tours?
Yes. We offer a walking vineyard tour for $55.00. This tour includes a glass of sparkling wine, a walking 45 minute tour and a wine tasting with your choice of 6 wines.
What are the benefits of becoming a member?
We have 3 wine club memberships to choose from. Each membership includes complimentary wine tastings, wine club shipments four times a year, two wine club pick up parties a year, and discounts applicable to your membership level.
Are you open year-round?
No. We are open April 1- Mid December
What is your cancellation policy for reservations?
There is no fee to book or cancel a reservation. We ask that you notify us of cancellations atleast 24 hours ahead of your scheduled reservation time.
Is your tasting room wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Our tasting room and tent are wheelchair accessible.
Are the tastings indoors or out?
Our tastings take place in the tasting room at the bar. We are unable to accommodate tastings on Saturday’s as we are unable to accomodate all guests when our tasting bar is full. We offer flights or glasses as another option.
What is the tasting room ambience like? / Vineyard views?
Our tasting room and tent both offer vineyard views whether you sit indoors or outdoors. Our tasting room showcases two colorful murals, one of which is an interactive mural, both painted by Melissa Feris our GM. You can catch a view of the vines from every angle of our tasting room.
Do you have onsite lodging or recommended local accommodations?
We do not offer on site lodging. There are many vacation rental options on Lake Paw Paw and surrounding towns.
Do you have recommended local restaurants?
Yes. We have created a list of local restaurants. Stop in our tasting room and ask to see “Judy’s List”
Do you offer bottle service?
We do not offer bottle service. We offer tastings, glasses, flights or sangrias. Bottles can be purchased to go and enjoy off the property with family and friends!
Are non-tasters permitted?
Yes. We have soda, water, sparkling water and non alcoholic sangria for purchase.
